Covid 19 Please Read
Following the advice from NHS England and the Department of Health, we are unable to see patients, for any routine dental care, due to Covid 19.
Patients are advised not to enter the practice, please ring to speak to a member of staff.
We are open for emergencies only at this present time, however, we are working very hard to progress back to routine care.
If you are in need of urgent dental care or advice, please contact the practice. The reception team will ask some pre-assessment questions before offering an urgent appointment.
If an appointment for a face to face consultation is made we would like to reassure all our patients we are doing everything we can to ensure patient and staff safety, this is our priority. Our hygiene standards and cleanliness have always been excellent, however with the current situation we have implemented some changes;
Patients are asked to wear a mask when attending the practice.
If a patient attends wearing gloves we would ask for them to be removed and put away in either pockets or a bag.
Patients are asked to wait in their car or in a safe place outside the practice until called in. Please ring the practice to inform our receptionist you have arrived for your appointment.
Hand sanitiser is available at the entrance, which we ask all patients to use before entering the reception area.
Temperature checks are performed at the entrance before entry by a member of staff. If your temperature is above 37.8C unfortunately we would not be able to see you. We would ask you to return home and contact 111.
You will also notice that the dental team may be wearing different protective equipment to what you are used to seeing.
Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment. We would also ask that patients arrive for your appointment on time or no more than 5minutes early to prevent patient crossover.
We will contact our patients when we are ready to resume regular and routine care. In the meantime, if you need any advice or assistance please contact the practice on 0161 224 4345. Please follow us on Facebook and Twitter for updates.
Stay safe, we look forward to seeing you all soon.
